MS Word is one of two types of client used for capturing and managing hierarchies of requirement and project information by ViewSet's PACE application. Now users of MS Word can capture requirements and other project information from a document into PACE with captured data "book marked" in the Word document. Subsequent changes to the document or PACE objects may be subjected to a review process before being synchronised. Once synchronised, changes to a PACE object will revise the text or graphic data traced to the "book marked" data in the Word document or vice versa. Traceability is maintained from the document to captured PACE objects and linked to other project data managed by PACE.

Now analysts and engineers can use the familiar and ubiquitous MS Word for tasks that could previously only be done with expensive software tools.
